In accordance with our ‘people who help us’ in the community theme, we were lucky enough to have a visit from Rackheath vets, who shared their expertise about caring for the well-being of animals. The children then put this knowledge into action during a teddy bear clinic They skilfully used stethoscopes to detect their teddy’s heartbeats, learnt how to apply bandages and engaged with a feely bag activity. In addition, we had a visit from PC Jennings, who explained to the children all about his role and responsibilities in the community.
