Weekly update wk commencing 11.10.21
Dear Parents/Carers
Thank you for your continued support with all we are doing to ensure our children’s education is not further disrupted this term. We do wish you were able to join us in church for Harvest but we are mindful of colleagues across the County testing positive for COVID and then needing to self isolate. Staffing shortage would disrupt your child’s learning so we need to continue to do what we can to minimise transmission, alongside being able to give children more opportunities to enjoy activities they enjoyed before the pandemic. It is a balancing act. I am aware that as parents there are things you may feel you are missing out on and I do empathise with that and thank you again for all you are doing to support us.
Many of you will know that Mrs Beavis went on maternity leave in February 2021. Mrs Beavis taught in Reception, sharing the week with Mrs Sims. It is with mixed feelings that I am writing to inform you that Mrs Beavis has resigned from her post at Salhouse and won’t return to us at the end of her maternity leave. We are sad to see her go but excited for her as she is to take on a new leadership role in a nursery.
I know you will join us in wishing her well for the future.
Mrs Sims will continue to teach full time in reception so the children continue to be in very skilled hands!
Julie
