Forest School 2

We had another wonderful forest school session last Friday. The children made ‘nests’ for birds, using sheep’s wool, leaves, and twigs. They then hung these in the trees. The children had the opportunity to do some sewing and some planting of daffodil bulbs. Many children wore an animal headpiece to play a ‘predator’ game, thinking about which animals eat other animals. The children have plenty of free time to do what they would like to whether it be climbing trees, building a den or taking part in one of the activities. A yummy snack of scotch pancakes warmed on the fire was also enjoyed by all.
